Parker’s Creek—Fall
This particular Fall I had traveled through Vermont, New Hampshire and then Maine in hopes of finding beautiful colorful foliage. As it turned out, when I got back to Calvert County and went on a kayak trip down Parker’s Creek - it was here that the colors of the water against the sky were really beautiful.

Dragon's Ascent
My wife was driving my son to school and called me to say that the ground fog was incredible. So I grabbed my camera and drove down Armiger Road in Huntingtown and captured this amazing curtain of light from above.

From the edge of the Patuxent River in Solomon’s Maryland, the sun was breaking through the clouds just over the Thomas Johnson Bridge as I took this photograph.

Tribal Legacy
A customer had asked me to take a series of photographs of the Southern Maryland lighthouses. As in all great photographs, circumstance provided much of the interesting detail as in this view of Cove Point Lighthouse with the crabbing boat off to the left.

Phoenix Flow
Hiking to the Bay through Calvert Cliffs State Park, the end is at the beach and among the really incredible sights are the long line of cliffs that rise 50 and more feet. Because of the continual action of the tides against these cliffs, there is a constant crumbling of the clay onto the beach.
